The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) adjourned on Friday the hearing of the presidential reference against chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry till April 18 with the consent of the parties.An order issued by the SJC reads, "Ch Aitzaz Ahsan, learned Sr ASC, for the respondent completed the arguments on the question of bias. In order to enable the learned counsel to complete his arguments on other legal objections the hearing has been adjourned to 18.
