The latest forced eviction by the Sri Lankan Government by physically pulling Tamils out of their residence in Colombo and bussing them to Northeast is yet another human rights violation against the Tamils in the on going program of ethnic genocide of Tamils. For nearly half a century, beginning in 1958, Tamils have been subjected to such atrocities by the successive Sri Lankan Governments.This latest act of ethnic cleansing was committed amidst calls from the international community to improve the human rights situation.
