Description:
Those are the people trapped in the Tamil Tiger (LTTE)terrorist held areas of Wakarai. Sandwiched between war and peace, these impoverished Tamils had undergone untold hardships in the land cursed by the so called 'sun-god' who wanted them to starve in order to win the final battle against the Sri Lankan army, thus triggering off a massive humanitarian crisis in the North and the East. Though they have prayed earnestly for help from the so called liberators, these innocent Tamils now sought refuge in the Sri Lankan army controlled areas, an area where they could live in harmony, though temporary shelters in make-shift Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps.
